The Practical Instruments Electronics (PIE) PIECAL 322 automated thermocouple calibrator is easy to use and very versatile. Just plug in any thermocouple via a miniature thermocouple jack to calibrate and measure all your thermocouple instruments and thermocouple sensors. The PIECAL 322 works with any thermocouple including types J, K, T and E. PIECAL 322 thermocouple calibrators can easily set any value quickly to within 0.1° with the adjustable digital potentiometer. The EZ-CHECK switch stores any three temperatures for instant recall. The PIECAL 322 is suitable for the shop, plant or field. It comes protected with a rubber boot and rugged low profile switch. The backlit display enable easy operation even in areas of low light. The PIECAL 322 features fast calibration with automatic output stepping. Choose between 2,3, 5, 11 and 21 steps to automatically increment the output in 100%, 50%, 25%, 10% or 5% of span. The step time can be set to match your system from 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 60 seconds. PIECAL 322 calibrators are compatible with many process instruments. The meter connects directly to the thermocouple inputs of smart transmitters, PLCs, DCS and multichannel recorders to verify their ouputs or displays. The PIECAL 322 also works with older instruments and newer multichannel instruments that switch between input channels.
